A beautiful piece that shows off the artistic pride of the traditional Portuguese town of Povoa, this is a 100% handmade item direct from Portugal, created from 100% upcycled cotton material. This traditional Portuguese artisan blanket is similar in design to a Mexican Saltillo or Serape blanket, or other southwestern, native, "Aztec" or "Indian" design blankets, but with much higher quality materials. Featuring an extra durable, tight weave construction with raised threading, this is great for use as an outdoor yoga blanket / yoga mat / yoga rug, as the raised & ribbed texture helps prevent slipping while practicing. Its extra tight weave also means it doesn't trap sand or dirt like other blankets do, making it perfect for use as a beach blanket, picnic blanket, or camping blanket. You can even use its bright colors to accent a home wonderfully as a decorative throw!
